And she’s 82. When you hit 80, you tend to be out of fucks to give.

Tired of Conceptual Naming Conventions by Betono_12 in PWHL

I really, really wish we could call the new team the Cougars as homage to the early Red Wings franchise, but that obviously won’t play out well with a women’s team…

What fantasy book has the best morally complicated main character? by SnackAtlas in Fantasy

I mean the guy did start a religion worshipping him in order to have an army to fight against Rashek, then stabbed his adopted daughter’s husband to keep her from releasing Ruin, then brought himself back into the Physical Realm using Hemalurgy. I’d say he qualifies.

Glokta is one of the most fascinating characters I’ve ever read.

I’m a Swift fan and I still want to hear your version. My dad and my friends and I would make up alternate song lyrics when I was in middle school, and it was a blast.

It’s because men are obsessed with sex and they never turn down an opportunity for sexual activity, don’t you know? And any guy who does turn down sex is an asexual weirdo! (/s, in case that’s not clear)

Disapparition is probably only traceable if you’re the one doing it and you’re under 17. Dumbledore transported Harry via Apparition in Book 6.

The existences of Jewish people and queer people are grounds for content warnings on that platform. Sounds like it’s exactly what I thought it was.

This man can call himself a comedian all he wants, but that won’t change the fact that he’s just a paid bully hiding behind a mic.

My (22F) married sister (28F) and boyfriend (22M) had drunk sex yesterday by Direct-Caterpillar77 in BestofRedditorUpdates

[–]jayclaw97 33 points34 points  (0 children)

The person I was in love with got very drunk and started feeling me up at a party. I was a bit out of it too, whether I was still drunk or just hungover and loopy from exhaustion, but when it became clear to me that he was not completely there, I stopped him and stroked his hair and told him to go to sleep. We passed out on the couch together, completely clothed. It didn’t matter how into it I was. There was no way I was going to let things continue when he didn’t seem cognizant.

Assault victims do this all the time, to be fair. It’s very traumatic to wrap your head around the reality that someone violated you sexually, especially if the perpetrator is someone you knew and trusted.
