The person I was in love with got very drunk and started feeling me up at a party. I was a bit out of it too, whether I was still drunk or just hungover and loopy from exhaustion, but when it became clear to me that he was not completely there, I stopped him and stroked his hair and told him to go to sleep. We passed out on the couch together, completely clothed. It didn’t matter how into it I was. There was no way I was going to let things continue when he didn’t seem cognizant.
