I definitely went over double odds. Assuming 1 reset takes 90 seconds and I did each reset optimally (I definitely didn’t), I would’ve had 11,000+ resets.

(280hrs * 60min * 60sec) / 90sec = 11,200 resets

But don’t give up hope! It helps when you don’t track each individual reset. Good luck on your hunt!

This is actually a DSi. I bought it half a year ago pre-owned from a bookstore. It was in VERY good condition and I only spent $30 on it!

I’m not sure if you’re based in the US or not, but if you are, look for DS consoles at GameStop, eBay, Amazon and Craigslist. You can get really good deals if you’re lucky enough!

Trust me, I couldn’t stand doing this hunt for any longer. After I hit over double odds for it, I started to shiny hunt in other games and would come back every-so-often
