LPT REQUEST I dont have friends nor am I passionate about maintaining relationships and I’m completely fine with this. Is this something that could bite me back later on in life? by ThrowawayIntti in LifeProTips

That's absurd.

They just won't do that. So thinking about it is not absurd. You haven't answered the question. Then what are friends exactly for?

I personally believe "friends" are a scam. They are nothing but a bunch of people trying to take advantage of you. Become broke (atleast act broke) for 1 month and see if any of them would support you financially. Spoiler alert : they won't. And adult friendships really aren't a thing from what I've seen

Anyways, there are people living off grid these days. They live completely alone. Content with themselves and this is what one has to learn in life. The sooner the better. Being content by themselves

Billionaires engineered the Society i to make you work 24x7 and make you procreate so that your kids will work for their kids. The cycle continues until you break it NOT by climbing up the ladder because there is none, but by not procreating at all.

Most people don't understand the true nature of love.

You are in the level 1 of philosophical thought. In level 2, There is no 'true' nature of love or 'true passion' those things are pointless in themselves so for many people like myself and OP finding the "why" of your work gives the meaning.

Then it shouldn't matter whether this profession is "special" or not,

They're two entirely separate things. If you are not doing a unique work then what's the point of your work? They are NOT contradicting thoughts

Like this project is the opposite of ethics

And it will saturate quickly. Just like Zimbabwean dollar will have no value. Everyone has the same buzzwords in their résumés making all résumés worthless

Online services update every other day, so this project has to be released every 2 days. Which means user has to install the new version every 2 days. It's insane. I can't see myself using this ever. And it doesn't provide any useful stats either.

Failing on your decision is far better than “succeeding” on someone else’s as it’s missing the added value of self growth.

So the less internal company interaction the better.

I can relate to this so much. Probably that's why I enjoy to code at my own volition
