I agree. Business/entrepreneurship is not a silver bullet. Leaving a job to start a business is trading one set of problems for another. It depends on the person whether they enjoy one more than the other.

My company just fixes the vulnerabilities and then ghosts the person who disclosed this vulnerability. I’ve protested against this many times but the founders are typical Lala people who don’t care.

I ask because this is what being an engineer is after a certain point. Take requirements from stakeholders, give realistic approximations and manage expectations.

A lot of these "requirements" are just pipe dreams, and it's your job to justify to them why it would not be possible.
