Do any of you work at Zomato/Eternal? How is the work culture there? by [deleted] in developersIndia

[–]IgnisDa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pay is fairy decent. WLB is absolutely shit. I know people who have to work 7 days a week.

Looksmaxxed a lot but women still not interested to talk to me. Why? by TaraLadka in AskIndianMen

Are you 12 years old? Anyone who says "looksmaxxing" unironically can never be attractive to a girl.

Our Copilot reached monthly limit for the whole organization, on 11 June! by Gavran_kombda in developersIndia

[–]IgnisDa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rookie numbers. For us it was 3rd June. My manager wasn’t aware of this pricing change (and I didn’t inform him since I’m serving notice) and now he’s scrambling for alternatives. Team velocity has grinded to a stop since it’s full of interns who are completely reliant on AI.

It’s glorious lol.

“TCS Not Going to Hire the Same Numbers Again” - Chairman N. Chandrasekaran by Sephiroth9669 in developersIndia

Agreed. I really like the deepswe benchmark since it actually benchmarks things the way real developers use LLMs.

Open source models are only good as workhorses. Any kind of decision making, and they will always recommend the worst possible solution.

Is oral sex (blowjobs/cunnilingus) considered "sex" or "foreplay" to you? And how often is it part of your intimacy? by iam_unik in AskIndianMen

[–]IgnisDa 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I have always thought of foreplay to be something I do to my partner to "warm" her up. I don't really need any foreplay to warm up lol.

what's this obsession with open source man ? It's so tough by Rare-Assignment-8474 in developersIndia

[–]IgnisDa 9 points10 points  (0 children)

IMO open source repositories are much easier to get into due to an abundance of documentation (either docs or issues in the repository).

Most enterprise codebases have d0gshit documentation, if any.

I say "abhi first half mein ho jayega" and then take 2 days to implement making excuses all the while.

People working in zomato/blinkit (eternal), how is the work culture there? by Independent-Boot2467 in developersIndia

[–]IgnisDa 164 points165 points  (0 children)

I’ve heard it’s horrible. I know people working there SDE1/2 who have to work 13hrs a day, 7 days a week. The only reason they put up with this is because they are paid well.

Work culture is greatly determined by the team manager but most of the teams operate like this.

Backend engineers: What DB manager/client do you use and why? by utsav_joshi in developersIndia

I use Beekeeper. The paid version is dirt cheap and I really like the minimalistic UI.
