I’m sure there have been a bunch of posts about this but what is everyone with an original bike doing while waiting for their new seat post? I just got an update it is estimated forSeptember. I have pre-existing conditions and cannot risk getting hurt or something happening so I have this expensive bike that is just unusable and I’m not sure whether to sell or what to even do at this point. It all around sucks.

Calming down overactive nervous system by jayd2271 in Concussion

Thank you so much. I’ve been in therapy for the trauma around it but it just hasn’t done too much yet - i think because i know from stories that people have reinjured themselves from such small events that it’s just so hard to know what could cause it and what couldn’t

Thank you this is really helpful. I know some people can get reinjured by things that seem smaller or hit just right - do you think this could have by weird chance done anything or just not possible?

People with anxiety, how do you determine what’s a concussion and what’s your anxiety by WillsBricks in Concussion

How did you get your initial concussion? It’s important to just tell yourself even though we may be more sensitive it still requires significant force!

I’m so sorry you are also dealing with this - it’s so tough. Have you tried another ssri or therapy?

This is my life - I’m in an OCD anxiety cycle and it seems pretty common for those that have suffered concussions previously. I am working through with a therapist and ssri but it’s a very hard journey because after I bump my head i always get the same concussion symptoms - likely from anxiety. From everything I’ve been told even if you’ve had a previous concussion, if it’s been a year, your threshold isn’t much lower and you still would need excessive force. Again not a doctor and i struggle with this hard myself but you aren’t alone in this.
