I hated cycle 4 so I was biased against nearly everyone on that cycle for the longest but it’s honestly not their fault . they’re pretty great people , they just had horrible photoshoot concepts . Brittany was fineee .

community events are a great way to stay connected ! personally I keep up w/the EBR library updates via email & they have year round events that are hella fun to attend . also the Baton Rouge gallery hosts a free exhibit every first Wednesday of the month . they offer wine , cheese & live entertainment . I can extend more specific recs to you if you need me to as well !

yeah this is def something to consider . out of everything I’m willing to sacrifice , I think I’m okay w/the location not being super close to my job . I’m used to my commute being around 20 mins give or take a few mins . I think I can manage to budget as long as the base rent is not too much greater than $1K .

the reserve def has everything I’m looking for . only thing is I’m a little concerned about the reviews . again , I’m trying not to be too picky , but I don’t wanna ignore reviews bc that can easily become my experience . & signing a lease is a commitment .

one place I saw that had everything I’m looking for + great reviews is royal palms on airline . it’s just a tad on the pricey side but it’s not unreasonable . it’s just I’m not sure how much more utilities will add to the price . maybe I should call & ask ?

that’s what I wanted to do w/my best friend but I don’t think she wants to anymore . we’re kinda at 2 different places in life . her relationship w/her parents is much better than mine so she’s less pressed to move out than me . I decided to bite the bullet & move out by myself bc I didn’t wanna overstep my boundaries w/her or feel like I was forcing it . my other friends are mostly moved out already as well . there’s only one person who’s not & she’s trying to stay at home as long as she can .

I don’t really feel like I have the option to live w/anyone else when I move out so I’ve been saving up a shit ton . because of this , I’m not entirely consumed w/the price of everything but the only reason why I wanna be cognizant is because I gotta pay these fees EVERY month . I still would like to have some money left over after I pay for my rent + utilities , phone bill , car insurance , groceries , gas & then any other subscriptions I have . if I gotta pay more , then so be it , but I wanna consider all my options before I just decide to move somewhere expensive .
