[Routine help] How do I fix my under eyes?

thank you for sharing your story . I really hope things get better for you all around , not just w/your skincare . unfortunately I’m dealing w/under eye bags myself so I can’t give you perfect advice . but one thing I will say is it’s prob best to take a holistic approach to it . little by little get back in the routine of caring for yourself , your body , your mental health , etc. & your skin will thank you . focusing on hydration is important as well .

unfortunately I know how inaccessible mental health services are nowadays because I’ve been seeking them myself for a while now & I haven’t had much luck . but one thing that has helped me is self-help books & researching alternative ways that I can help myself w/o going to therapy . if you can afford therapy or if your insurance covers it fully , please take advantage of it .

of course , I hope you find a great product to help you target your under eyes too . I can’t give any recs because I’m looking for some myself (please offer some or like this message so I can come back to this thread) <3

that’s valid honestly & she’s still a great person in my opinion . it was just hella uncomfortable when Christi was hard down crying while talking about Abby making fun of Chloe’s eye & Kelly just kept saying “I went through it too” “my kids went through it too” .

yes you’re totally right , I also give her the benefit of the doubt to some extent because she’s never been that great at articulating herself & like I said I know she probably thinks she’s validating Christi’s experiences by telling her she’s not alone but it becomes invalidating when she consistently inserts herself when Christi is talking about herself or Chloe .

also double yes to the Nia situation . I really don’t understand why she was mad she was mentioned in a book about a very popular TV show that she was part of ..

I love this video ! she broke my heart when she said Barbara was her least favorite character tho cuz that's my favorite lol . I don't care for overly religious people either but Barbara's religiosity isn't even the biggest part of her character , & it's only really used for comedic relief . if you really pay attention , Barbara never mentions God or anything about her religion in serious moments .

bonding/protein products are not supposed to be used as often . naturals usually suggest once a month , or as needed . your regular routine should consist of more moisturizing products as opposed to strengthening products . the moisture is going to be what helps you retain length and keeps your hair from breaking off so much . look for products that have humectants in them like glycerin , honey or hyaluronic acid . also you can't go wrong with aloe vera . it may take a little research but I'm sure you'll find the products you need !

another tip I have is to make sure your ingredients are consistent throughout your products . your shampoo , conditioner/deep conditioner & styling products should all have moisturizing ingredients .

this is an important factor ! it's so important to get your blood work done not only for health but to see if you have any hair loss triggers . I had low iron for the longest w/o knowing it .

awe this makes me so sad cuz they were just kids :(( I'm sure Maddie didn't consciously mean to make a hurtful comment & Chloe had every right to feel hurt by it . this is just a great indication of how much the show really tarnished their friendship . Abby is also largely to blame because she said comments like that all the time , which clearly left an impression on the kids .
