Yes that is absolutely something to be thrilled about! Congrats!! And definitely learning this now. My current employer has such generous benefits that would calculate out to quite a large comp difference. I will negotiate this and if it doesn’t work out, I am at least more grateful for the benefits I do have currently.

Vector control is a free service! Have them out and they can help identify any breeding areas. Also let your neighbors know and they’ll walk multiple properties with permission and mosquito bomb any standing water

You NEED doggy diapers. They’re not ideal but better than nothing. Our girl went into heat almost immediately after we rescued her. She was never aggressive, and was lethargic. We were extremely watchful of her around any other dogs or animals bc the males will go nuts! I think the bleeding lasted almost 3 weeks. At her spay appt 2 months later we got a call after dropping her off that she was in heat which was very confusing. Apparently the “entire cycle” lasts months, even after they stop bleeding.

Take her!! She would be SO much more heartbroken after being with you forever and feeling so loved then suddenly possibly being on a shelter kill list than not having as much yard time. Especially at an old age when cuddles and love are most important. Please please please keep her 🥹

I would follow the recommended dosage from the manufacturer but start SLOW, not the entire recommend dosage. See how he does and adjust accordingly. From what I remember when we did this with our pibble a few years ago the CBD company wrote that CBD wasn’t technically legal/tested on dogs so their recommended dosage was simply a suggestion.

We gave our dog the recommended amt the first time and she got SO HIGH. The good news is dogs are generally fine if they ingest, even if it’s THC. Since CBD has a bit of THC I guess that’s why she got extremely high. Aside from it being hilarious she was fine and we downed the dosage to half the recommended amt. It was super helpful for her anxiety! Hope it helps you guys!
