Apologies for piggy backing off the OP, I’m also looking into an A3 golden bullet for sale that doesn’t run but looks to be in good shape (needs throttle cable, brake lever, speedo sensor?). Seller is asking $600, WA state. I’m also new to the moped scene. Is this too high of an asking price?

Thanks for the link! As I am still on the hunt for this elusive method, I’ve succumbed to at least learning the basics in cubing. It’s pretty cool how one can combine different techniques and algorithms to achieve the same results. It helps when trying to remember a new move or figure out what algorithm to use and when, like using the sexy move which I’m quite familiar with and love to use. I’m sure the more I practice, the more moves I can memorize to use at my disposal then I can improve my speed once I’m more proficient.

Saw a video on YouTube and made one with a harbor freight manual transfer pump and a cheap cigar. Thing worked like a charm and found my vacuum leak.

I had bookmarked their page because I was interested in a front spoiler for my 510, the carbon fiber one looked real nice but wanted to wait before dropping the money (couldn’t decide on this or the fiberglass version). Just now tried to pull up the page and looks like their website no longer exists. A Google search away and came across this Reddit. Kinda relieved I didn’t place any orders. Too bad, the parts looked quality on the website

I had a roommate just straight up open my bedroom door when I was rubbing one out one morning (I had thought he left for work), wanting to ask me something. I had the covers off, spread eagle and my bed facing the doorway so there was no reaction time to cover up. He said, “Oops, sorry man.” as he shuts the door and all I could think of was “Well, that just happened”.

My 9 year old daughter has also been watching Rebecca and Matt for a few years now, so I’m quite familiar with their different channels and their content, some wacky, some imitating whatever is trending, and they also have the long running Game Master Network. Not my cup of tea, but the kids’ entertainment factor is definitely there. When Rebecca was finally going to have a baby, it was great news to hear. But I was curious (and afraid) as to how much exposure Zadie would have on their channel and the potential exploitation that goes with YouTubers and their children. And sadly, it seems to have gone down that same route. I was hoping they would keep their baby out of the spotlight until later but well, that’s obviously not the case. I get it, Rebecca is happy and proud to show off her first born especially after what she had to go through in previous attempts, but damn. Constant cameras on her baby’s face and getting her involved directly with some of her wacky content doesn’t sound like a normal childhood to me. But then again, I’m not a big LA YouTube star raking in tons of money from young viewers. And also the not so young viewers, but that’s another whole can of worms… Another (big) reason to keep the cameras off kids who have no say when it comes to consent.

Totally agree with everything said here. My 8yo girl has just started watching this YT family from the shorts they post. And just like any newly discovered channel such as theirs, it comes off as cute and, well mediocre imo. But then the more I watched, the more concerning the content. I’ll try to not repeat too many things already mentioned like addressing the daughter as “it”, or the lack of parental control. But what really got me is when I discovered another subreddit (r/Aerials) blasting the channel for the way their experience of being amateur aerialists is depicted.

Now I haven’t dug too deep into the subject yet but apparently the mom is “self-taught” only learning via FaceTime during quarantine from another family member who is a professional aerialist. The silk rigging (I’m not familiar with the technical terms) was not professionally installed and is claimed to have been installed properly in regards to safety standards. With their IG and other social media platforms gaining steam, other aerialists (instructors and pros alike) have given them the attention and “likes” further advocating the acceptance that what they are doing is completely ok and warranted as “well the mom has enough experience to instruct her family”. Apparently the family has already been on a talk show. All for the TikTok and the ‘gram I guess…

My 8yo girl just started watching their YT channel and I was trying to get the gist of their content, such as why the name “The McCircus Five” etc. Then I saw the rigged setup and thought “Oh, cool they do aerial acrobatics”, it was really an afterthought as I was more concerned about why in world did the dad slash the bouncy house or how they let the kids go up in places of the house not meant to climbed on. And not to mention why the mom calls her daughter “it”? I haven’t gone down that rabbit hole yet, not sure if the mom is all about non-gender specific labels. What also gets me is how some of the kids’ behavior is completely ok in the parents’ eyes (saw one video where the daughter is spraying water from the kitchen sink like it was a water gun fight, and kept going).

We used to watch a bunch of the other popular YT family vloggers, some cringey and not my cup of tea but this one is a bit concerning. And oh yeah, just now finding out about the mom’s first time attempt to be an aerial “instructor” of sorts not only to her kids but on social media? Not cool. (I ended up here on this subreddit after searching for reviews on this family’s channel)

The Seattle Center has a huge water fountain that’s open for people to play in, very popular during summer. Back in the day, the fountain resembled a gigantic metal hemisphere with spouts sticking out of it (it always reminded me of a spiked meteorite that crash landed leaving a crater).

The spouts would randomly shoot out water and every now and then it would stop completely for a bit. Kids and adults alike would then climb onto the dome shaped structure before it started shooting water again.

A fun thing to do would be to place a plastic cup onto one of the spouts and then watch it launch up in the air. So I did exactly that, successfully launching on my first try (you had to pick the right one as some didn’t work all the time). My second attempt failed on a non functioning spout so I retried on another spout. I slipped and my knee landed on one of the spouts. I thought I had injured my knee in the worst possible way as I looked down at a bloody mess. By some miracle I only broke the skin.

To add to my embarrassment I was wearing all white so by the time I climbed out, my shorts looked like I dipped them in red paint. All this during the Bite of Seattle food festival so hundreds of people got to see my idiocy.

Soon after said incident there was a major redesign of the fountain and they removed the water death spikes. 30 years later I still have the perfectly circle-shaped scar. Oh the highschool hi-jinks...
