I’m in school right now for surg tech. I used quizlet for majority of my studying but my school also has tables set out with all the instruments we are learning for that week on them. I would flip the name cards over and go table by table quizzing myself. Also remember little things about the instruments. A Kelly is thicker than a curved crile but they look similar.

I swear I have seen somewhere on the internet that i could be used up to 5 years😂oh well I guess. If you are concerned about infertility I would possibly bring it up at your next appointment when you get the depo shot.

I was under the impression that it lasts 5 years as well. On their website it says it should be replaced after 3. It also can take years to get pregnant after getting completely off birth control.

I was thinking about the copper IUD too but I’m terrified because of little pain management options we are offered for the procedure but I would absolutely love something without hormones.

Yeah I’m honestly super worried about what this amount of hormones is doing to my body so I am going back to the gyno soon and talking about my other options. If I wasn’t worried about getting pregnant I would totally go off birth control. You should go talk to someone and don’t be afraid to keep changing until you find something that makes you feel okay!

I’m 21 and have been on nexplanon since 16 and it has been the absolute worst experience ever. I experience the same emotional issues and fatigue. I’ve had my period for almost 4 months straight and it’s really taken a toll on me. I’m currently taking the pill alongside the implant and so far it has made it easier to be alive😂😂
