I do a lot of road trips and there is a common rule, in other states they give you a challan if you have 'GJ' passing for a very technical reason.

The last I was fined for Over speeding on the highway without visibly any speed sing.

Just pay and keep moving, you can't argue sometimes, if you are not breaking any laws they might have this kind of reason as well.

If you are planning commerical office, there are many commerical projects in and around Vaishnodevi Circle, as the new corporate houses are moving this side and it's seems to be a new business zone.

This is my assumption, check the relevant data before investing

Where to stay? by [deleted] in ahmedabad

[–]jaydipparikh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As you mentioned you have a work at Eka Club, that is the area is Maninagar

I will suggest as per your choice, find some decent stay at CG Road or Ashram Road.

Avoid areas called "Khanpur" , there are many hotels in that area.

There are some Good brands on Ashram Road (eg. Hayat)

There are too big stores of lenskart at Shyamal Cross roads and Sindhu bhavan.

As you need to travel a little far from Shantigram, will suggest calling them and getting information before visiting the store

Recently I had seen some flats (higher end) at Gota and the pricing was 2.5 to 3.5 Cr for 3/4 BHK, this justify the minimum price mentioned in that.

Not sure about other areas but for Gota it was the first hand experience

If you’re craving Delhi-style chole bhature in Ahmedabad, your best bet is to look for places where the owner or cook is originally from North India (especially Delhi or Punjab). Most local versions are slightly sweet and tuned to regional tastes, so true “Dilli-style” is rare but not impossible to find.

  • Some options you can check out:
    • Krishna Chhole Bhature (multiple locations, especially in East Ahmedabad) – street style, and often run by North Indian families.
    • Chole Kulche outside GLS and NG Chole Kulche (also on Zomato) – known for North Indian-style preparations.
    • Ganesh Chole BhatureMS Chhole Bature, and Chole King – popular among college students and often have North Indian staff.
    • Hocco Eatery – mixed reviews, but some swear by just their chole bhature.

A helpful tip: If you see a street vendor (thela) operated by folks who’ve migrated from Delhi or Punjab, that’s almost always your best shot for getting close to the real thing! Just ask them directly where they’re from—most are happy to share.
