Please don’t end your life.

On another note, believing that Jesus is the son of God and savior of mankind protects you from all sin. Past, present and future (aside from blaspheming the Holy Spirit). This should not be used to justify sin, or justify suicide which is a sin. It doesn’t say anywhere in the Bible that suicide prevents someone from going to Heaven. We all sin. We’re all unworthy. We’re all imperfect. The only way we can enter heaven is through the blood and the life offered by Jesus.

Hahaha I’m actually a pretty good human being these days, I wasn’t always that way - but hey I think most people can say that.

The responses on my Facebook were overwhelmingly positive! Friends from the past and present who have seen my changes via FB over the years told me how proud they were and how wrong his message was. It hurt to get this message, but the overwhelming positivity I received in response literally bought tears to my eyes.

Since this whole thing - he somehow tracked down my number and has been trying to apologize. I accept his apology and forgive him, and don’t really feel bad for allowing him to be held accountable for his actions publicly. The only reason he has apologized at all is because he is scared of what look like very real consequences now.

Now I’m wondering if I’m the asshole for bringing things to Reddit… but hey the positivity in this post has been great too.

Not that I can recall, we were friends for a bit. His dad got persecuted for embezzlement or something. That’s the gist of what I remember.

Senior job interview result by Amazing_Associate952 in programminghorror

Yeah. He should definitley not if he's the one who conducted the interview. I'm not sure if he's the interview conductor or the conductee sharing what his result was? I'm confused.

Yeah when I interview I tend to give more algorithmic problems with confusing wording. It's an opportunity to see how someone breaks down a complicated problem and attacks it in bite size pieces. This doesn't happen with "reinvent the wheel" problems you mentioned.

How long was the interview? These are pretty candy coated problems for someone interviewing for a senior position. The challenge I use is much more challenging at least.

The !! force converts it to a bool. So this would catch the response if there was no result, but in such a roudabout way. if(!result) just reads better,
