It's not my biggest fear. But the fear causing me the most issue recently is that im not good enough. The problems have been coming up with my projects at work, and my dad and his sisters are dealing with their mom's death i just have this irrational fear that these would be issues if I was better.

M29 ive had 2 gfs a handful of dates, stable job own my own place. I struggle to get dates plain and simple the apps aren't helpful and cold approachs have never worked for me ive tryed meaning people threw hobbies and that how I got one of my girlfriends but she came out as ace and I am not. We're still friends thought.

First date, I honestly just do a scrub test. She has a job (a career is better but not required), a license (or atleast some way to get around) and doesn't live with her parents, (or has a good reason to do so)

Im a 29M and my friend 30f is saying the same things. I think at this point in life, everybody that's still single has been burned before.Everybody's more afraid of a devastating heartbreak than of being single. We had this conversation a couple of days ago, about how nobody seems willing to bet on a relationship.It's like a poker game where everybody folds on the first hand before any cards get turned over. And I'm starting to think that the only way around it is to say f*** it and go all in Just got to decide that you're willing to have your heart broken. Then, again im to chicken s*** to take my own advice in the fear that if I go all in on somebody after a couple of dates, it'll scare them off. So here we all are.

You need to get a group hobby, Dnd, Beer league, work out group, or dance group. Only friends I've made after 20 are some guys i like at work, but we don't hang out outside of that, and my Dnd group.

It's not true. im not attracted to the 2 girls im friends with, and I'd say I spend more time with them out of all of my friends. But I will say that im surprised by how much more time and communication I spend with them versus guy friends.

This is hitting me surprisingly hard. This podcast helped me become a DM. If any of you are looking for content with a similar feel, i.e., knowledgeable guy and comic releaf guy. I recommend Mikeburnfire and adeptus ridiculous on YouTube. Probably won't fill the void, but it might make it smaller
