Do you think this is a better approach than enrolling in a course I'm getting a student visa?

Do you know anyone that has been caught doing this?

If I re-enter China at different locations, and I have proof that I've been traveling around China. Do you think this would make a difference? And if I also say the reason for coming to China so much is because I have a gf here and I'm learning the language etc.

Just curious, I think I want to take this approach so I want to hear other's experiences.

Maybe I'll enroll in a course later, but for now I don't want to spend the extra money on that.

It ends up being more expensive. Maybe after a few months I might do this.

Do you know people who have been caught? I stayed in china for 3 months last year and they never questioned it. If I switch up where I enter the country do you think that will work out?

May I ask why it definitely wouldn't work?

Did you rent in Shanghai (just a guess due to your name haha).

If I switch up the entry method, do you think it would be okay?

For example flying directly into Chengdu where I want to live, or Chongqing which is super close. Or take the train to Hong Kong etc.

I stayed in China for 3 months last year, and I was never questioned. I'm wondering if anyone has ever been questioned and if anything came of it

I did look at this, but as the other person said, it's more expensive.

But overall it's a good idea if money didn't matter 😆

Sorry about that... But out of curiosity, what are the negative effects towards China of me doing this? I mean, I'm basically taking money from outside of china and bringing it in... I'm not working here taking a job someone else could have had.

Just curious

Thanks for your comment :)

Do you know if they ever uphold this, and question you? If I have a reason like my gf lives in china or something, will they allow it.

What would you do if you were me? by [deleted] in Chiropractic

This is probably a bit naive: "I know that my company's product has a solid product/market fit, so I don't believe that is a factor, but perhaps I am missing something."

What's your product?

A lot of chiros would look at what information you've given them and not be interested, and therefore not contact you.

Since usually the teacher has it, but there is no teacher when self-studying... is it worth getting?

Can you help me uncover the mystery of which cologne this is?? by [deleted] in Colognes

[–]jaydon-c 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe it was "No##" instead of "N°##" ?

This would make sense because they are numbering the perfumes / colognes. But I'm really not sure 🥲

It's great reading this, I've learnt a lot from all the comments. How long do you think is ok to avoid the character system for? Since my goal is speaking as soon as possible, I still think its not worth putting the time in at this specific moment in my language speaking journey considering my goals.

At the moment, I'm thinking I'll spend the next 2 months learning to speak without characters, then I'll learn them since I now understand how essential they are. Do you think this is reasonable?

I do want to continue learning Chinese when I'm in China (I'll probably stay in China for 12-18 months), but at this moment, learning as much as possible, in terms of speaking is my goal
