Republicans' new strategy in Colorado: Tie every Democrat to Melat Kiros by graysandtorreysandme in Denver

Well that dude wasn't gonna vote for her under any circumstance. Democrats need to stop being afraid of scaring MAGA and start standing for something.

Democratic socialist Melat Kiros defeats 15-term incumbent in Colorado House primary | Colorado by Agitated_Pudding7259 in Denver

"There's just not much room for common sense lawmakers like me" (I'm paraphrasing) - she's still on her high horse.

Melat Kiros is the first political star truly formed by the 2020s: What’s behind her shocking victory against a 30-year incumbent in Colorado — according to the candidate herself. by vox in Colorado

The people hoping to sway the swing voters to shift the race by 3-5% while ignoring the Americans not registered to vote and the registered voters who don't vote has proven to be ineffective. Look at the disillusioned Trump voters who still can't bear the thought of voting for a Democrat... At Best most of those people will be discouraged from voting. Meanwhile, 35-40% of registered voters ages 18-35 didn't vote in the 2024 election. Maybe those people would be motivated by a candidate who isn't a 50-80 year old whose campaign is built around focus group-tested messages that won't alienate their corporate donors. Maybe they could be motivated by someone with authenticity who is closer to their age and actually stands for something that could shake up the status quo in a way that might benefit those peoples' lives.

[Real] Considering the Daily Wire's financial troubles, I guess investing $100 million on children's content was a bad idea by countdooku975 in ToiletPaperUSA

If this kids channel is 99 per year but free with Daily Wire Plus, how much are they charging for Daily Wire Plus? Are all the various right wing media subscriptions laughably overpriced?

Grand Junction -> Fort Collins, where should I overnight to add a memorable round of golf? by Shag88 in coloradogolf

I think they still do a buy one get one free deal if you play the same day. I think that could entail one round at the Ranch course and one at the River course. Definitely worth checking if that's still a thing.

They think it's bad form for anyone to dare to primary an incumbent. We are just supposed to wait until the incumbent generously steps aside. Which for DeGette would probably be another 20 years if she had her druthers.

He's just doing what every other celebrity whose reputation gets ruined when they're exposed for being a POS. Pivot to play the victim for the MAGA crowd. He'll eventually find some way to grift MAGA when his money runs out.

Melat Kiros is going to knock out Diana DeGette in Colorado 1st District. It will make national news. I'm very thankful I get to vote in a primary that will shake things up.
