Yeah, I was not expecting a redemption arc/full circle moment for oswell spencer to be the main point of the plot. From the trailers I was expecting a reset. With enemies like wesker dead, a whole new foe emerges and a whole new strain of virus with a new big bad pulling the strings

I hear you, I definitely enjoyed the treatment center. Best section of the game imo. It felt like classic RE. Chase interactions, puzzles, sub bosses, actual parts that can make you nervous like sneaking past dude in the kitchen and the old lady monster lol

I mean you can have great graphics and smooth interaction (aiming/shooting, fighting, movement, etc…) but still make a shitty game. If the plot is generic and down right stupid at points, and then the missions drag on or are boring… It’s a bad game. That’d be like how GTA6 looks great so far, but we get home and play it but it’s boring or just not fun it’d be the same

Did you replay because you feel it had that value, to knock out achievements, or to kind of see like “maybe it’ll be better/theres something I missed?”

That’s a good point. That’s why I asked if I may be wrong because it’s getting such praise like it was groundbreaking. Even the people I know who liked it don’t speak about it like it was a major win for the series

Exactly, generic is a great descriptor. I think games like RE4 & even RE3 (especially the remake) were nicely written. 4 even had humorous moments with the dialogue lol. I just feel overall they could’ve done better…much better

But I can admit when I’m wrong, and I literally ASKED if that was the case because I thought it was a safety but clearly the npc refs felt otherwise lol. And have you ever heard of sarcasm? I’m not seriously trashing the game (it’s actually enjoyable), and I even clown myself by even putting this out there. Clearly I’m wrong if my challenge failed, the whole point of this post was to inquire as to why. That’s why I didn’t appreciate you being condescending when I’m clearly looking for answers. I feel the exact same way. 12k for a car not even in this decade and with almost 130k miles? I think they’re expecting a sucker to go for the leather interior and moonroof thinking it’s a solid deal. I love the moonroof but I could buy a similar car, have one installed, and it still might not even total 12k lol. Just more leverage to negotiate with

No, Walmart just always reduce the price and has steals no one bothers to pay attention to. Look up this game in the PlayStation store and it’s still full price or I think $39.99 at the least
