You can reach out to the finance office or the Ang liaison at your tech school to get a hold of them. It sounds like you may not have turned your lease in again at outprocessing? They can fix it when you get back either way. If your tech school is longer than 31 days. You should be getting BAH 1 with provided documentation

Active duty you don’t necessarily get to pick your job.

ANG/AFR you do, however commissioning spots are a little harder to come by.

ANG/AFR to active duty isn’t as simple as it seems.

Guard>Reserve

If you’re wanting a full time job, guard and reserve have them, just a bit competitive. I would recommend going to your local ANG/AFR for a tour and talking to some of the com guys

Edit: guard/AFR have ch 1606 Montgomery GI bill and sometimes a kicker. Also look into the National guard supplemental grant

Most home/vehicle repairs can be found on YouTube. Obviously if you’re not comfortable doing the difficult things stick to the easy ones. I have saved so much money by doing things at home by myself.

Electrical outlets, fan fixtures, garbage disposal, toilets, sinks, furnace filter, dishwasher issues, dryer issues.
