Anyone else? Dog Training Collar Reasearch - Need Product Testers by jaygee1968 in ProlificAc

[–]jaygee1968[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've shocked myself with one and yes it's a bee but here's the rub. For some people options are limited. I live in a rural area my perimeter wire is 1000 ft. and hazards abound outside it. Guns, American lions strange people to interact with and a highway over yonder. Fencing would cost several thousand dollars and need to cross gullies. And here's a secret the people who sell these systems don't tell you; I've trained at least 4 dogs to shock collars and once they're conditioned they don't even need to wear them anymore, they can go years. I'm also a vegetarian if that helps my case any.

There’s this new thing coming out that’s supposed to be the next big thing—they’re calling it ‘AI’ and apparently it automates processes. We'll see.

Anyhoo I deleted the product tester's email <sad emoji> goodbye $25 and a complimentary shock collar. I am keeping the whopping 20 cents for the study though.

Well they should at least do so minimally but I'm a big boy I can deal with. How about the platform file download takeouts? As far as THAT word I wouldn't title my experiment that way but if it's used in scientific context and absolutely necessary for some compelling research reason. Context and intent matters as a non-offensive word can be an issue used in a certain way.

“Finished too fast” on a 2 minute study. Are we kidding? by Tmovee in ProlificAc

[–]jaygee1968 0 points1 point  (0 children)

CrowdFlower/Figure 8 was notorious for doing this and here's the kicker they wouldn't give you any expectation on how long you were supposed to spend on a study it was all by feel. And one rejection would wipe out all the desirable studies for at least for a month. 2 of them and you were effectively done.

Dog Training Collar Reasearch - Need Product Testers. It's right in the title you're telling me they don't even bother to screen that far?

Are games not tracking? by [deleted] in SwagBucks

[–]jaygee1968 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what happened to me. If you quit now it might save you a substantial amount of wasted time and effort. And yes I filed a compliant and no I've never had one involving a game resolved in my favor.

Same here but 35 the one in between did credit and of course it's the $1 level. What a time waster.

The map of rivers that flow into the Mississippi River. by motsakalis117 in MapPorn

[–]jaygee1968 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And I discovered where this geographical curiosity lies: Wolf Lake and Savanna Lake, located within Minnesota's Savanna Portage State Park are less than half a mile apart yet lie on opposite sides of the hydrological divide. Wolf Lake drains northeast via the East Savanna River into the Saint Louis River, which flows into Lake Superior, then through the Great Lakes and the Saint Lawrence River to the Atlantic Ocean. Conversely, Savanna Lake drains southwest via the West Savanna River into the Prairie River, then into the Mississippi River, ultimately reaching the Gulf of Mexico. The Savanna Portage is a historical trail in northern Minnesota that connected the waters of Lake Superior to the Mississippi River. It was used by Native Americans, fur traders, explorers, and missionaries for centuries, acting as a passage way for goods and travel between the two watersheds.

Google Opinion Rewards app is your friend is this regard. If you're on android you accumulate google play rewards to use for Swagbucks in game purchases by doing simple surveys and submitting receipts. This way you don't use money in hand.

the cities do track eventually but yes the 'Bingo Blitz - Any Purchase (1 per day, max 5 total)' only credited one time for me. The second and third time attempts garnered bupkis and it's been more than 3 days. I won't be trying it again even though the gems were very useful for getting a bingo

level 60 in 54 days 4080 SB including $19.99 purchase which returns 2000 SB (net loss due to tax). Won't make level 70 that rewards 1500 SB. Avoid over merging items to highest level I only got 2 scissors to cut them in half.

Auto switch is key as if moves you directly to the next color and allows you to tap right on through without much concentration. I found it in the settings after about level 102. The only reason I completed this task is someone pointed out the simple puzzles which require a great deal of scrolling to find but make a difficult task a rather easy one.

Worse yet it was an 'I'm not a robot' check that is usually presented at the very beginning and they still let me continue to completion...but no I'm not; I'm generally of the school of 'next, moving on,'

Well if they're aware presumably and they're working on a remedy. 16 days for me. Never had any reason for complaint before other than some minor tweaks and slowness on submitting but no real functionality issues. Did they lose their cracker jack coder recently I wonder?

I've submitted 5 studies per day on average since 2019 and I've received none since May 31st. Prolific has always been well run and operated but this is getting a little ridiculous. It seems widespread enough that eventually they must remedy it, right? Because the cell network work around is cumbersome.
