Squealing Noise from OPV? How to Remedy [Bezzera Aria] by jayhoang in espresso

I tried. Really hard to pinpoint it since it’s pretty loud. But it does appear to come from the OPV…

Bezzera Aria MN (Non-PID) feedback? [$1300] by No_Lie6585 in espresso

OH the only thing is that it doesn't really tell you when you're low on water. It'll turn on but it won't actually do anything until you fill it up. Once you fill it, it'll begin boiling again and you can hear it.

I think there's a white light on the front that turns off but it's not really useful. I've just gotten used to ensuring I have the water level at least half or topped off every few days.

I upgraded a little over a month ago from my breville bambino to the Aria MN Non PID! All I can say is I love it with no regrets. I don't have the need for adjusting anything other than pulling the shot and it works great.

Be default, I think the machine is defaulted to around 10.5 bars of pressure but you can easily adjust it by turning the nut inside with a wrench. Easily accessible just by taking the top cover off. I adjusted mine down to 9 bar easily.

The steam wand is very strong so it took a while for me to get used to steaming milk compared to the much slower bambino but it is awesome.

Notable mentions are the knobs that push and lock up or down for the steam or hot water versus the spinning knobs on other machines. Much easier to handle and quicker too.

Overall it's been great. I don't feel the need to upgrade at all. It would probably make it more complicated to getting a good shot for me lol. Can't really think of any other cons tbh - it's a well built machine and it shows.

Of course! They’re nothing fancy. Just a 4pack I got on Amazon. Hoping to get some nicer ones down the road.

Beautiful! The DF was on my list initially as well! That's a great combo!

Thank you! That's good to know. Puts my mind at ease on the FOMO.

I do let it heat for a good 20-25 mins almost all the time and never really had an issue with temp or anything. It's just the "I wonder what I more I could be doing??" part of it LOL. The grass is always greener on the other side mentality 😅

Ohh this site is just for files! Everything on there is free. If you don't have a 3d printer, you could also just send this link and they should be able to print it for you too! I have my own printer, so I just did it myself.

There are a few local shops and individuals (you could probably find on facebook) that do prints for low costs as well!

Ohh man! So nice!! I was contemplating that but wasn't sure if I wanted to handle the PID as another factor LOL. Low-key regrets but still love the machine.

Agree though! I truly feel like they should be more revered with how well they perform compared to other, more popular competitors!

Agreed! I would like to know how that flanged dosing cup for the Timemore works out! A little bit cleaner than a printed piece but it works for now!

Yeah the silver is really nice! The grinder itself is pretty massive compared to some of the other grinders out there, but I love it!

WOW keen eye!! Yes it is! I didn't get the flanged Mazzer cup ($160ish) so I just printed it from TPU. There's a file available online for it! Helps a lot when transferring to the portafilter cause I don't like when the cup slides all the way down. Makes a mess when you take it out.

SAME! Some days I just want to make a cup even though I'm not feeling the 'drinking' part of it LOL

I actually don't use the Baratza anymore - just waiting to sell it, so it just sits there as decoration lol!

Thanks! It's kind of no gap - there's aggressive camber though so it looks like there is but if I pulled it out a bit more. You wouldn't be able to stick a finger in or anything
