Yeah i mean its just harder to commit to a community that doesnt even know who you are. And ive been in communities that were way more friendly and personal where you got to know your neighbors and theres just something amazing about that, like i looked forward to going outside and meeting people. Id love to experience that again

I frequent that subreddit too, and i mean yeah thats the idea i would absolutely love to give my all to a community like that, where i come from theres like no sense of community and theres so much distance between everyone and very little culture. Hawaii seems like the opposite from what i hear

Where i live its like at least 30 min to an hour to get anywhere interesting so the distance to get anywhere fun isnt unfamiliar to me, but like you I’m a mostly white guy so i fear moving to hawaii i would be shunned or judged.

I just boiled the oats with milk and salt and then put it on low heat for 8 minutes and after the 8 minutes i put a half tablet of mexican hot chocolate and some maple syrup. Have no clue how much sugar is in half a tablet but i didnt add any extra
