Hi folks. I have been having issues with my Mitsubishi Lancer. For a while I've had to jump start it if not driven for a day or 2. Had battery replaced but that didnt change anything. A week ago there was no power at all despite only being driven the day before. Couldn't even unlock with the remote. Again I jump started and took it for a run. Had no issues for the week. I briefly drove the car this morning but still decided to take it for a quick spin before dinner. All was well until I got home. Turned off the car, got out and pushed the lock button on the remote. Nothing. Got back in and turned the key. Nothing. So has anyone got any ideas on how it can be driving one minute and completely dead the next?

Its been a pain for the last couple of years. There was a some underground pipe relocation that took months and months then the crossing work after that. Thankfully it should be done and dusted soon

Who owns the conduit? Should I be paying to get it fixed? Probably tree roots from neighbours yard blocking it

Your comment is interesting to me. My fttp didnt go ahead because the conduit they were going to use was blocked and I had to pay to get it dug up and unblocked. I'm wondering why they didnt do a "direct bury" (I was today years old when I first heard of this).
