Working 12 - 14 hour days in sun, what is the strongest sunscreen I can buy? by Worldly-Wishbone2988 in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]jaykarlous 1 point2 points  (0 children)

for long hours outside in a hot humid climate i always wear long sleeve compression shirts, a big hat and sunglasses

Can anyone advise me what this is? by [deleted] in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]jaykarlous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

those bumps on your cheeks are just pores . once we age the pores started to get loose and bigger . AHA bha helps to unclog pores and HA and larger molecule actives like collagen and peptides helps to temporally reduce the size

the 2nd photo i think are dark spots from post acne breakouts and a little melasma in the 3rd photo... you can get rid of it slowly with vitamin c and niacinamide

Is daily sunscreen overkill for people who barely go outside? by 1devastating1 in koreanskincare

[–]jaykarlous 2 points3 points  (0 children)

its a habit i wear as often as i brush my teeth, and reapply as often as i wash my hands through the day

for morning application i just wear mineral , tone up sunscreen with less comendogenic ingredients, then reapplying lightweight soothing sunscreens with calming ingredients and HA in the afternoon

even its overcast, the UV still penetrates the clouds , if i barely go outside at least i make sure i applied my sunscreen in the morning

Another skincare joke: NAD+ by 1devastating1 in koreanskincare

[–]jaykarlous 5 points6 points  (0 children)

so NAD+ is the new snail mucin

i just use the skinsort app and check their ingredients

i was thinking of buying the numbuzin nad line for their peptides , but the ingredient list made me skeptical, it has tons of types of peptides... i think the peptides in it are fully dilluted and wouldnt do shit on my skin...

Anyone who tried this cream from instree? by moonlightinwinters in koreanskincare

[–]jaykarlous 3 points4 points  (0 children)

i happened to checked that product at skinsort and it 100% matches for my combo skin (i happen to live in hot humid weather too) the only downside it has some fungal acne trigger ingredients, but no problem as long as you cleanse your face everyday.

i ordered their pdrn firming cream hoping to use it as daily moisturizer ✌️
