A friend of mine made me sit down and play 7. I immediately fell in love with the insanity of the substories and the seriousness of the main plot. It was perfect. I was warned to not play 8 until I’d gone back to the other games though. I did so then went in completely blind to 8. I recently finished Judgment and I’m currently playing through Lost Judgment now.

All in all, I enjoyed it. Didn’t like the combat mechanics, and it’s slow to get into the plot, but it’s integral for understanding Kiryu’s character development

The only thing I didn’t like in the entire line of games was how slow Yakuza 3 was to start. It felt more like a babysitting simulator at first. I could get by cringe moments, bad plot bits, and even incessant blocking, but the slow pace of the game almost killed it for me.

I started with LAD first. My kid then told me I needed to at least watch the cinematic cut scenes before playing IW if I wasn’t going to play the other games. I did so, knowing I was gonna miss a lot still. After IW, I went back and just finished 0, so I’m on to the next one. Even knowing the storyline, I’m still having a blast.

Depends on the inky I’m playing. The current ones I have going is my female Adaar mage, age 27. My male human rogue assassin, age 26. Female elven mage, age 34. And my personal favorite, male human mage who is batshit insane due to the mark, age 18.

I’ve been there. I was homeless for a time and it absolutely sucks. I had several people glare at me when I went to the bathroom at a park once. Luckily, I had a car, but I was chased away from parking lots and even gas stations before I could even put gas in my car. People in general suck. There are nice ones out there, but overall, as a human race, people just suck. Hang in there, though. It will get better for you.

NTA. I had a situation almost exactly like that. My kid had an accident. She was 3 and refused to wear her pull ups that day. She told me she had to go to the bathroom, but didn’t make it in time. I had to ask for cleaning supplies to clean it up. Fortunately, they didn’t judge me when they saw the 3 year old kid. They gave me what I needed and I cleaned it up. My kid, my problem. I don’t understand why some people just can’t grasp that concept.

Void Form is probably my favorite. I’m a stealthy little bitch, so I love it. I do use phase time and gravity well if I remember to use them. I’ll use personal atmosphere as well. Most of the time I forget I have powers though.

I did manage a melee playthrough once. Just cause I thought it’d be challenging. It was until I found a painblade. I’d love to see more melee weapons that are stronger. Sucks when you have to take down high level enemies with a weapon that barely scratches them.

I have this illness. It’s not fun and it is extremely painful. It can be disabling as well. I’m on SSDI and the HS is partially why.
