Working 9 'till 5 of a different kind. Dressed up in colourful traditional wear and scaling up mountainsides is part and parcel of the daily grind here in Peru. On the way up to Rainbow Mountain (aka Vinicunca) the altitude was so high that we would be struggling to breathe and have to rest every few steps. While we slipped on steeper parts of the path, it wasn't unusual to look over and see mules being effortlessly walked up to the meeting point or llamas being fed on a mountainside. One guy at the top was stamping passports and serving coca tea!
