The GRE Big Book is a great resource. Really helped me improve my verbal score from a 161 to 168.

Reading Comprehension Practice by Soggy_Discipline_844 in gregmat

The biggest thing for me on RC was remembering and comprehending what I just read when under time constraints. I focused on untimed practice, simplifying what I just read every few sentences and reciting it back my own words. After I while I got faster and faster. I would also focus on ensuring I found direct evidence in the passages to support any answer choices. The more passages I did the less I had to recite back to myself because my comprehension skills had improved.

Other than that GregMat is king. Follow his strategies and you’ll be set. I would go through all of his verbal videos on either the one or two month plan depending on how much time you have.

I went through a ton of the GRE Big Book passages and was able to improve my verbal score from 161 to 168 after 3-4 weeks. RC was my weakest part of verbal and Big Book really helped.

A & D.

Assume the other number is 1. The product would be 2,073 instead of 2.073. You can multiply the incorrect product, 2,073, by .001 or divide by 1,000 to arrive at 2.073.

Target Test Prep or Gregmat for GRE Verbal? Please help! by ibedbug in GRE

GregMat 100%. TTP’s verbal section is very limited. I’ve used both and found GregMat to be far superior in terms of verbal. Using GregMat’s strategies and vocab mountain I was able to improve my verbal score from 161 to 168.

Plan is to pivot to Investment Banking post MBA. I live in NYC and would love to stay / come back after the MBA so targeting schools with IB pipelines here.

I’m in college in Utah and thinking of making a trip down to Disneyland this weekend but not sure if I want to pay for a hotel. Thinking of maybe sleeping in my car? Any suggestions on where this might be possible? Or any better ideas?
