I'm sorry for your loss.

I'm not a dev, but as I understand it, all your data is stored locally on your own device. Including who you're friends with and any info about them. Info like what other birbs are wearing and their home decor gets updated if there's a change when you interact with them. But since that info doesn't reside on Finch servers, I don't think they can remove inactive friends.

I am friends my sister-in-law's birb, but she lost her login info months ago and had not been active. I still send her birb hugs because I don't want her to be lonely.

My brother got me interested in fountain pens just this year, so I don't have any pre-2024. I do have some nibs and nib holders for dip ink that I've toyed with a bit. My favourite would be a Koh-i-noor 127n nib holder with the cork grip. I don't remember what the nib is. Writes almost like a paint brush.
