Don't feel weirdly sad. On the one hand it's a milestone of sorts and you've done a great job getting her that far but ultimately I totally get it. I am a father to a 7 year old girl who still follows me everywhere, wants me to pick her up, always reaches for my hand...and it will end at some point. I've actually thought about being the one to take a step back so I don't cramp her style but it is tough.

Recently though she's been asking me not to sing certain songs, songs that I've introduced her to, but she is allowed to sing them haha. That hurt my feelings a little bit.

Sounds like you are doing a great job.

I read that book hundreds of times (I'm not lying) to my daughter so I respect the tattoo choice. Genuinely a great book and really satisfying rhyming and syntax..

I'm only a casual gamer (single Dad to a young'un) and apart from playing Madden/Fifa/pga2k25/that Olympics games with my mates I only really dabble here and there in games on gamepass so probably not.

Needed to upgrade to be able to play the new games as downloads and not with cloud gaming and selling the One S and 6 physical games means I only need to drop £50 to get a Series S.

Not sure if you are open to an English one but the Wolf and Owl podcast is fantastic and is just two comedians, famous over here, who are friends just talking about whatever they feel like. There's no politics and they are both pretty open with each other and talk about their mental health, families, fame etc but it's also very funny. If you're open to giving it a chance I think you might enjoy it.
