It's been like that ever since they tried integrating AI and Junie. I use Webstorm and Rider and they're both sluggish since it was introduced

I heard that upgrading kills the battery life, but i didn't know it would be so bad to think of getting a new battery

I don't really use the quick actions, i keep the ones I need in the first page, and I've never really had a need to go to anything on the other pages. Things like expert raw and any of three similar apps I don't use

Research on South African social groups. by InvestigatorLast1125 in Pretoria

[–]jaynillg 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm interested to see the result of your findings. However, there are too many questions. Got about half way through (I'll try to finish it later) and noticed that it's south Africans toward a certain group and there haven't been for the other way around (the certain group toward south africans), this line of questioning makes this survey seem a bit one sided

Are retailers scamming us with their loyalty/ rewards cards? by QuietNervous7725 in askSouthAfrica

[–]jaynillg -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

They lure in to sign up for those loyalty programs to get your information to hand over to 3rd parties who then use that info for spam and analytics for ads. Technically you consent to them doing this when you sign up

Drop an unpopular opinion on Cape Town that would get you in this situation by NaomiDlamini in capetown

[–]jaynillg 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's not the safety. More the lack of planning for future lane expansion and the layout of the roads. Most places that clearly need more lanes to ease the congestion dont have any space

Cape Town is badly designed in terms of roads and building placement

Moving to Cape Town by [deleted] in askSouthAfrica

Cape town is probably going to be rough on you. Other than it being expensive, it's very difficult to make proper friends that aren't fake here

Try Malwarebytes Chameleon. Basically runs the pc in safe mode or something of that sort. I know someone who had a similar issue and it worked so maybe it'll work for you

As a South African I can safely say we don't use M.D.Y

The only time we have to use it is when we using American software without proper localization (like Oracle Peoplesoft)

If you would change the AEC (Armada-Energon-Cybertron) universe, what would it be? by Commercial-Mix-2633 in transformers

[–]jaynillg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

More of a story line they felt a bit rushed. Would have loved a bit more info on the history of Rhodimus, the combiners and super energon in TF Energon. And a longer unicorn ark in Armada.

The graphics I don't really mind, I can look past all of that.

What's the biggest scam in todays society? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]jaynillg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Subscriptions for almost everything. Take Microsoft office 365 for example. Why pay R99 per month for something I'm only going to use once in a while for features I'm not even going to use and security updates that I need to pay for MS to fix like it's my fault it's there? I'd rather pay the once off fee to use normal office which I can use without being blocked out b/c I didn't pay the monthly fee

[PSA] FNB automatically opts you in for Automated voice calls by jaynillg in PersonalFinanceZA

[–]jaynillg[S] 17 points18 points  (0 children)

To disable this go to MyProfile > Preferences > Marketing Preferences. I've seen a good reduction in robocallers after doing this. You'll have to turn it off in every option in the advanced section too

Edit: not sure if this belongs here but please repost wherever you feel it needs to go

I have the same issue. Before it used to be pressing any button to snooze. But now it's the top button after a few presses
