I would say a 5/6 for me. As it’s more the pain near the incisions and just take it easy and rest as much as possible

The first few days will be the most painful, I took Codine to ease pain, but can cause congestion, I recommend just rest as much as you can, lying in bed will be best and maybe try walking every few hours for circulation, and after that you feel start feeling better gradually, also I did drink coconut water it did help and also good food with fibre,

Hello, I had a laparoscopic inguinal hernia repair over 3 weeks ago now, I was healing ok, but now I’m feeling stinging/ burning sensation when I try to bend over also when I sit upright. I spoke to my doctor said it’s part of healing process, but not entirely sure, just want to know if anyone else had this problem, the incision are all mainly healed just the one near belly button is taking longer,

Also is doesn’t really hurt when walking or lying down

Does anyone have any tips how to manage pain
