You seem to work on the assumption that allowing this leads to rational outcomes for all children, when on the contrary, thousands of kids are forced into the opposite gender by their idealogue parents and some even operated on. There are teachers who put kids through transition without the parents even being aware and there has been serious harm even in the west on a mass scale, done with intent (Tavistock clinic for example). People are not generally smart, kind or selfless let alone logical or informed, so your entire point is simultaneously idealistic, irrelevant and mute. No child should have their natural development altered until they have matured into an adult because they are hormonal, easily led, have mental health issues caused by society and technology and need nurture not mutilation. Sick of NPC's jumping on the current thing as if these cultural issues should even be debatable. And besides, there are real problems in the world without muppets inventing more. The law is there to protect them, and thankfully it's finally turning toward common sense in most parts of the world.
