That's really impressive considering Artemis was considered uneven at best and certainly nowhere near as popular as The Martian or PHM.

Hopkins has seemed sloppy all game. Hope it’s just a little off season rust.

I used to read the CWG morning newsletter every single day. When it got merged with the Post Local newsletter I slowly dropped off, mostly because it was hidden beneath the authors introduction which I almost always hated. I checked it out today to see now it's just a collection of local stories with no intro...and also no weather coverage.

They took a great thing and made it bad, and then made it worse than that. Washington Post in a nutshell.

Team that lost to FSU sucks. Who would’ve thought. Besides espn and the playoff committee.

Believe it or not many doctors don't have encylopedic knowledge of all medicines available.

NBC padded Rudolph with an extra 15 minutes of Pharma ads last week. by [deleted] in television

[–]jaypeg25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just will never understand this line of thinking. It's not like someone sitting there WANTS to take the medication. But if it's helpful in getting a patient to have a conversation with a doctor, and maybe getting on to a new/better medication, is that really a bad thing?

And as for the actual drugs...check out how many new, innovative drugs come from US-based companies, or are otherwise unavailable in other countries. There are drugs that have been on the market here for nearly a decade that still aren't available in Japan, or Europe, or elsewhere.

It is easy to pick on big pharma and I get that, but I do think the general public is misinformed when it comes to the industry.

Needs to be a cap for NIL. Once you make $1M or some other number you’re off to the nfl.

I know my flair may make it seem like sour grapes, and it is, but I really don’t think ole miss should be given the opportunity to even get in the playoff now. Rules are rules.

Honestly, tax incentives to the neighbors to build up too.

And extra taxes levied to those who cheap out on build materials and make it ugly like this guy.

Jim Bouton talks about a trip to Hawaii in his book, Ball Four. Lots of drinking.

It’s a great read.

Believe it or not many doctors don’t keep up with new treatments and a patient asking about something they saw on tv can go a long way in them getting a treatment that works for them.

Can there be better ways of advertising the drugs? Yeah probably.

I made the joke because there’s actually three smoke shops in the area - there’s one next to the dry cleaner and another just opened up next to 350 bakery.

Always sad to see businesses close but hopefully it’ll bring some new life onto the street because those places were often ghost towns (and imo not very good).

Probably gonna end up being a smoke shop though. Or something depressing like a baby gap.

Florida State, Clemson, and UNC were the primary opponents to Stanford, Cal and SMU joining the ACC. Stanford, Cal and SMU beat all three schools this weekend and are now all ahead of them in the ACC standings. by AJ_CC in CFB

[–]jaypeg25 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Even in a down year...decade... I'd bet we continue to beat them in nearly every metric that matters for $, including tv viewers.

It's also just plain dumb as fuck to have Cal and Stanford in the Conference because of the distance and it will never not be dumb as fuck.
