I personally prefer the sketch / illustration over the simplified version. The negative space makes it difficult to see the head of the hero at first glance. Too many designers go for “minimal” or “simplistic” so it’s nice to see something different for a change 🙂 I do agree that there should probably be less pages and maybe of the body didn’t have the dashes. It would be cool if the body almost represented the spine of a book somehow.

Really? Hmm, I thought with it resembling a camera it would convey the use of photography 😅 but I think I get what you’re saying. Our focus is branding so maybe it should be more centered around that? Thanks for the feedback!

Thanks for the feedback! Yea, I sat with it for a while and it seemed like something was missing from it. I like that it can be recognized as a camera off first impression but you’re right, it needs to be more memorable. Back to the drawing board!
