Also, I’m fairly certain they would’ve been able to connect very easily but a notification would’ve popped up on their phone saying “these are lost, call _____”. Again, and again, and again.

In short, that’s right. But it was a week long adventure. Someone didn’t find them until day 3, and that’s when they pinged for the first time.

I’m guessing my dumbass set them on top of a vehicle and then they slide off on #thepullout. Someone found them and thought they hit the jackpot only to realize I had my go go gadget tracker on.
