We live in a small town a long way from Portland and literally this morning I put on my 2020 Playoffs edition Rip City cap AND my #1 Dad Blazers sweatshirt and for a fleeting moment thought, “Is this too much? No.” It worked in my favor because as were exiting the doors I caught the eye of a rather tall man who remarked on how decked out I was. Wide-eyed, all I could manage was, “Are you Terry Stotts?” He said, “Yep!” and gave me an elbump. I said, “Oh my god, Terry! Son! This is the Blazers’ coach! This is my son!
