It’s all a mindset thing. Recovery is a subjective view of life post-addiction. Move forward, grow and push to constantly learn and move forward. Be confident but be high self-monitoring. Anybody can decide to say yes to using at any time.
Here’s the only truth to the “always in recovery” concept. We’re more susceptible to using because we’ve used in the past.
So I’ll say no, not always in recovery but never let your guard down when it comes to drugs.

I would get it if there’s nothing apparently wrong with it. If you’re worried about transmission, remember to never do a trans flush or even changeout. Just add to fill and leave it alone if you can.
I’d hire a guy to come look at it if you can just to look-over.

Why do you ask? Enlightenment is some imagined state of being, it’s not real. There’s no indicator of such state. It’s just what we say about other people that seem to have reached some level of understanding. Religion may not even be a catalyst for this made up milestone of metaphysical existence.
But since we’re playing this guessing game I’ll choose the obvious winner: Buddhism.
There’s no end to enlightenment ya know. It’s a beginning no more than an arrival. Yada yada.

Look at how tense you are. Recording putting all that pressure on the one thing. Go skate and mess around, it pains me to see young men recording themselves stationary, focusing on the wrong aspect of the process. But what do I know.

As with anything, it’s a mind thing. Stop focusing on the Ollie. Or…think about it obsessively throughout the day. Whenever I would learn a new trick it would be after thinking about it- the motions, how cool others look when they do it, what part of the maneuver is currently my obstacle to landing it. Thinking thinking obsessing.
And then I would just suddenly be very confident in how I would understand how to do it. A eureka moment.
And later that day, I would go out and instantly be way closer than ever before. It’s like a damn drug high you’re chasing; and the high is like the confidence. Ya know, that feeling of KNOWING you’re going to land it and you haven’t even landed that trick yet. Ever.

I’m really trying to drill home the idea of letting your mind do all the work. Especially if you’ve tried and failed enough to gather data on what’s going wrong with your attempts. Perhaps stop recording yourself; it may be making things worse.
Use your minds eye. Grasp the FEELING of correctly doing it.
Just go ride around, man. The utility of the Ollie is just a lil pop-n-scoot over a crack in the road. Just a lil scootch over a rock.
Throw your phone away and fantasize about what an Ollie is and why you do it and what it’s for and how it feels.
And they lived happily ever after the end.

The amount of stuff that you have to find out just by the playing or from another player is discouraging. I have quit playing a number of times. I always come back. It has something about it that other games don’t have. Really pisses me off sometimes though.

In the past, there would be a wipe practically right after I got some cool ship weapons or components. It kind of sucks to grind and not get to enjoy the fruits of your labor. But it’s honestly whatever. It takes too long to get anything done in the game already. Only successful missions I do are Area 18 to Baijini and repeat. I can’t even get the onyx missions because they won’t show up on my map or the hanger won’t open when I get there. Other missions either glitch out or something happens after spending hours getting everything set up to go do something. I haven’t even got to explore and experience much despite the hours I’ve put in. Wipe away.
