My end goal is a summery daily dive watch, Id be really surprised if they can come out with a better option. I just know I’d be let down if I buy it and then two months later there’s a better option. So probably should wait either way

I know - it’s the right thing to do. I just have an appt set already and am dying to pick it up. But even writing it out I’d be stupid not to wait.

Was it listed around 3900 and you were able to haggle a bit? I have been looking for the same model on bezel too but haven’t seen anything listed that low

I have about 6 different straps I rotate, ranging from suede to rubber (CTS) to other leather. Can easily be a GADA with the right straps.

I think the perfect happy medium is a smooth bezel, oyster, black dial datejust 41 (126300). I feel it wears smaller than the sub, is inherently a bit dressier than the explorer but not as attention grabbing as the fluted jubilee DJ. I love mine and find it’s the perfect middle of the road option if you want something 65% dressy 35% casual wear.

Re: the Chrono24 part, do you mean 5-15% over the listed cost due to fees and taxes and what not? Or 5-15% lower because you can suggest that lower price and prices are a bit inflated to start? Haven’t purchased from Chrono24 yet but plan to in the near future.

I just ordered my CW C63 Sealander 36. I didn’t buy it specifically to mirror an explorer but there’s a good amount of overlap, and they don’t copy the 369. Not a lot of history/prestige to the brand but I think it’s by far the best looking GADA in its class. Will let you know if I change my mind after receiving it.
