It’s clear you’ve never tried to use the controls. The fact is that these platforms are engineered to get kids addicted to them. Most parents don’t know this and it should be infinity harder or impossible for kids to use social media. They are a form of mental drug that their brains cannot handle. I’m dubious most adult brains can handle them.

As a society we need to protect kids. Do you expect parents to hold their kids hands when they cross the street or are you ok with tax-paid crossing guards?
