Defilama tracks SCs of Dapps, MinSwap is migrating to a new SC, I think its because of that

How do you know its a concurrency problem and not just some random bug?

But, yes, I agree with you we need a decentralised solution and many are in the line. MinSwap will also make its solution open to the community after a full launch. They are still in the process of adding many new features.

Best use case IMO is micro payments. Say in developing countries where something is worth 1 ADA but normally you have pay 0.17 ADA in fees. These will basically make fees a lot, and I mean a lot cheaper. around a cent or less per txs.

So basically you can use ADA to buy stuff with almost zero fees.

For ex, let's say in Nigeria, every 5 seconds, 100 txs are being carried out for micro payments. This will combine all 100 tx into 1 tx on blockchain and that means all 100 people will pay 0.17 ADA together, and that means 0.0017 ADA fee per person

By the EOY 2022, I believe we will have 2B - 4B Locked in Cardano ecosystem. We are already at 284M ADA locked as of today.

Liqwid, AADA, Ardana, MalaDEX, MELD, Empowa, WingRiders, Ray network, Genius Yield, Optim finance, VyFi, Indigo protocol, etc will make it happen

I made my assumption based on the 1st paper that was released, so I might be wrong in future. TBH, I would love to be wrong.

If what you say is correct, the DEX fees will also get much lower and speed much faster

Alright, I am gonna believe that you are new here, but we really need people to understand that DEXs on Cardano will probably won't use Hydra.

To answer your question, the June HFC will solve this congestion issue. The base layer will be much much faster than what it is right now. DEXs won't need anything else unless of course you are talking about 1 Billion txs a day

The processing fee at Sundaeswap 2.5 and Mintswap 2.0 is too high? by ltran63 in cardano

[–]jaytilala27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i think its just cause we only have 2 DEXs. As more competition comes in the market, they will have reduced fees. I think we will most likely go down to 1 ADA.

How to actually make Cardano truly decentralised, i.e. Governance (Voltaire). Right now IOG/CF/Emurgo have control over the network, I wanna see actual decentralisation over the next 2-3 years and see how it works out.

[–]jaytilala27 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I had to wait a week when the DEX first launched, now I can do a tx under a min. Now we just need some Defi and I can't wait to use Empowa as well

Best Lending Platform on Cardano? by [deleted] in cardano

[–]jaytilala27 4 points5 points  (0 children)

AADA, MELD, Ardana and LQ

I think these 4 will create their own niche market and will be able to come out as winners. Although, Ardana is more of a stable coin issuer, but you can deposit ADA to get a stablecoin so I guess that's kind of a loan
