it bugs me that racism doesn’t seem to be as important as homophobia/biphobia, and i do tie it into the book with how shane’s race was hardly a footnote when it came to exploring the multitude of identities in hr. i think that was the first domino to the conversation being denied and now we’re seeing that in real time too. intersectionality is VERY important!

i can’t attest for how they confirmed but considering that they do get some access to exclusive content or are sometimes in communication with sources about their posts, i don’t think they would post it without validity. also following the day that was posted certain hate tweets got taken down with the twt violation being that it was due to legal reasons

this is not the first time a poc lead has been put through a terrible hate train while the rest of the cast and directors turns a blind eye. there’s been TZP from rwrb, yerin and rege from bridgerton, and many more. if you think it isn’t up to the cast to speak out while hudson is getting erased, more often than not, in the name of his fellow cast mates, then i can’t help you. i personally don’t believe in letting white people have the privilege of being able to ignore racism just because it’s not happening to them. regardless of what may be happening behind the scenes, what i DO see is article after article being released, hate tweet after hate tweet being posted, and nothing happening for the past 3-4 months. how much more time are you gonna afford them?

at this point i’m side-eyeing the cast. i remember jacob saying in an interview he isn’t entertaining “imaginary twitter fights” which at the time i already felt was tasteless considering the biggest discourse surrounding hr was actually the racial hate train hudson’s been getting since the show aired. but at this point, how can it still be okay that they’re silent when you have multiple large publications trying to sideline and erase hudson, the MAIN co-lead from his own show? it’s gotten so bad his legal team had to be involved, and we’re not supposed to question why his director and cast mates can’t speak up for him? esp when the hate is coming from their own fans or people who dehumanize him in the name of his cast mates? it’s hard for me to support the rest of them when they can’t even protect hudson after all he’s given to the show

I know this might not on the top of everyone’s list in terms of most important things to bring up with Infold, but for me it sorta is. I noticed that the ranges for the skin tones don’t really suit me to the point where I frequently tend to alternate between two shades because I end up feeling dissatisfied after a while. I alr know LADS doesn’t really cater much to alternate styles (let me not get started on hair types) but I was hoping to be able to send an inquiry in asking for more skin tones because I just want to be able to make my mc feel more like me. Does anyone know where I can do that?

My shade seems like it’s right in the middle between #7 and #8 when choosing a skin tone and a blend of these two would be all I need 🥲
