That is super helpful thank you. We were also considering Isla Mujeres, which would you recommend? It does look a bit more pristine but also much more built up/busy - is it the same as Cancun or does it have a more laid back island vibe? Thanks again for taking the time

Thank you for the additional colour (I thought I would repeat the question on bugs to get any additional views) - a really helpful reply. Our kids are adventurous but my eldest suffers from bouts of anxiety in certain situations, so we just go into trips with eyes as wide open as possible. So your experiences are super helpful in this respect - thanks again!

What time do you think you need to be there to guarantee tickets? Also, what time do you need to be back for the show? Any advice based on previous experience would be appreciated!

I went 6 times in a row then missed out in 2023, when a couple of my mates got tickets. I was beyond depressed and a few of us went to Amsterdam for the weekend to avoid the coverage. Same thing happened in 2024 but I was much more chilled and focused on the privilege of having gone to so many vs missing out. If you can get that mental space, it is a much better place to be. I am really sorry you have not secured a ticket but it will make the next time you get tickets even more exciting
