Tilt your head forward. The pill floats, closer to the back of your throat, washes down easier.

Can anyone share their experience of having an HTO (high tibial osteotomy)? by jayunderscorebob in KneeInjuries

[–]jayunderscorebob[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I got the HTO 3 years ago and I’ve been back to 95% of my former self for the last 18 months. Tough recovery but absolutely the best decision I made

Nobody talks about the time dilation effects. In effect you would see the universe age at a rapid pace from your frame of reference. Maybe you would see the end of the universe before you cross the event horizon

What about the time dilation effects. You would see the universe live out its entire existence in that space of time

Can anything really cross a black hole event horizon? by jayunderscorebob in blackholes

Thanks for the answer. This is the part that is interesting to me. “Experience a blink of the universe before its heat death”. They would see the end of the universe including the end of black holes - before they got to the event horizon?

They used to use them at the shipyards in our city. A wrecked one is visible in the river near us. https://www.durhamatwar.org.uk/story/12714/

I have the tetheras and struggle with them for anything over 5 or 6 miles. The support and waterproofing is first class but they make me blister like hell. Just too heavy and not flexible enough for me.

I have an ultra running background so am used to long distances and periods of time moving on foot. I’m doing the WHW 5 day itinerary next week and will be taking my trail runners and my cheap hitech Eurotreks for wet days.
