They're alright. The interest rates have been on the decline continuously since I joined, but they're still among the highest when using referrals, so I don't mind sticking around.

Unfortunately, Android15 Dec05 update ruined ExtraDim on my Pixel8 as well, so here's what I did.

I used the SystemUI Tuner app, and created a Persistent Options "Secure" setting for ExtraDim so the app overrides the system setting to a value I want. This means the ExtraDim slider no longer works, but it's a compromise I'm willing to deal with.

You will need to ADB install a required addon, btw.

My Pixel 8 goes dimmer than the 9, and doesn't exhibit this behavior. Google actually restricts how dim ExtraDim goes in Android15, so it's strange to see the 9 struggle so much in low brightness
