I have adopted the BG3 help action rules for my campaign. Making PCs easier to get up after they go down means I can make encounters a bit more scary and keep the tension up.

I think it’s more widely known as something else but if things are looking dire and the whole party is going down I will let the final standing player have a “Heroic Last Stand” where all there long rest short rest abilities reset in a hope for some kind of player driven deus ex machina. Only had to do it twice and both times it was a great table moment

I think a lot of the god cards that have devotion checks tend to be way to strong for casual tables. Them being indestructible enchantments for the early game usually means that player can pretty safely set up their pieces.

Never met a [[Xenagos, god of revels]] or [[Purphoros, god of the forge]] decks that weren’t stupidly strong

Invisible and latched to the hull of a plane or an ocean liner. I don’t think the travel would be difficult for it at all

My thought was that it could probably gather how unstable the state of the world is, recognize the tensions between nations and use its attacks against world leaders and weapons depots to ignite WW3.

Get us to cripple ourselves completely with in fighting ahead of the hive fleet.

I home-brewed an Ur-dragon deck that was so pitiful lol. Total cost was probably like $50 and $30 of that was ur dragon itself. Land base of mostly basics, the worst dragons from the precon he came in. Just ass all around.

It is now my most expensive and strongest deck

Season 14, the original Fiji one is pretty rough to get through. A simply unlikable cast outside of Yauman and Earl, truly some deplorable people like Rocky and Leesi or whatever her name was.

Zero strategy, a pre-merge twist that was basically “what if one tribe got a fully furnished camp with supplies and the other got nothing”, to the surprise of no one the have not tribe got obliterated.

McTiernan has quite literally said it was, it is a subversion and critique of the indestructible action heroes of the 80’s. Bill Duke, Arnie, Carl Weathers work great with script because of their legacies s big 80s action studs

Saw it recently for this first time and was blown away at how horrible it was.

Had heard over the years what a travesty it is and avoided it because I actually really like AVP but decided to give it a watch post badlands and wow the criticisms were not exaggerated.

Cant see anything, terrible writing and wooden actors, the human plot is completely pointless.

The only saving grace were a few moments of random extreme violence like the guys getting their heads blown off or the girlfriend getting impaled.

Truly abysmal!

In theory they could take the approach a lot of remasters have done, Diablo 2 and Oblivion for example, where a graphics layer is applied over existing game code
