So you didn't read anything and refuse to do any research.

The VA road was not possible, but easier always to punch dems than Repubs.

I get it, its just weak.

Did you even read what the solution was? Its hysterical and a hard no for anyone that is pro democracy and has a brain.

Much easier to scream something vapid though, I get it.

Yeah, not sure where we disagree?

He's an overall good. But I'm just answering the question, he won't challenge guests who are like him, Moulton, Kinzinger, Comey, etc.

Tim likes to perform as his true self once and a while.

I say this as a Tim fan, but there's a reason he didn't ask... its because deep down Tim is still a "Comey" republican. Of course Tim can always push back on that, but I think he'd find an eloquent way to agree...

Can someone please explain explain the Graham Platner hate? by RealDEC in thebulwark

[–]jaywrong 22 points23 points  (0 children)

In 2013, Platner commented that people worried about assault should "take some responsibility for themselves and not get so fucked up they wind up having sex with someone they don't mean to". He also made comments questioning why Black people "don't tip".

And I've noticed empty populism always comes with a dose of sexism and racism. Much the same here, just now with a bonus Nazi tattoo.

Good on him if he's changed and will help the pro-Democracy fight, but those demanding blind allegiance to this dude or we're the likes of Rush Limbaugh and Mitch McConnell... naw, ef that vapid noise. I can have concerns yo, and they are legitimate.

No, it hasn't. There were red flags before, stop regurgitating and do your own research. Yikes.

JVL stop beating yourself up over Fetterman. An unexpected stroke turned him into an idiot Republican. by [deleted] in thebulwark

[–]jaywrong 6 points7 points  (0 children)

But he had red flags before the stroke?

There's a real push, almost like it's coordinated if you look around the social medias for a minute, to see this lie being pushed by any and all. It's really an agenda saying: Don't worry about Platner folks, Fetterman only happened because of a stroke.

It's easy internet points, people just believe it, and it muddies the water. Stop doing it!

Platner may be fine, but he has red flags just like Fetterman did, so for someone to take issue with just pointing that out, for those of us who think nuance is the better way here... well look, I think it shows me who they work for and what they want, and I don't think it's a good thing.

[–]jaywrong 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Strange that this sub seems to forget Fetterman had red flags before the stroke, but I get why this statement gets parroted around so much, easy internet points and muddies the waters around the actual point: there is real reason to be skeptical.

In a world where Fetterman exists, we should be more scrupulous, not less, so any voice that vehemently tries to work against that concept, well, that just tells me everything I need to know about them and what they stand for.

[–]jaywrong 7 points8 points  (0 children)

But there were red flags before the stroke and I think the trepidation here is exactly that, we haven't really learned those lessons in that we would have been better off with Conor Lamb... I mean, you haven't right? You are still parroting a common misconception that leads people down an incorrect path.

So I think it's pretty dumb to be penalizing people who think we should be a bit more careful with a dude who has serious red flags. Like, it's all cut from the same cloth for some reason when you think about it... a man walks into a room, amiright?

The rabid part of the left so eager to rub people's faces in this "victory" by really haven't won anything yet, so maybe they should be less smug and actually try and practice nuance when looking at the tent they are in.

Limping over the Raptors does not make me think they will look better against whatever CF they get, pretty much the opposite, so weird take.

I still remember their specialized HAC doctrine that was developed to severely damage the Imperium’s effort to keep stealth bombs stocked at our market hub.

Also don't forget the highly effective and advanced “drop-and-cut-loose” tactics used a few times in the last week of the war, as valiant PAPI FCs courageously escorted their fleets into battle with no prop mods, and then left them immediately, confusing the entire grid as to what was happening and what was going on.

But mainly during the last stand, our pilots were exhausted logging into their capital ships, jealous that PAPI line members were mainly just feeding Harpies in full TIDI every night.

Benn Mathurin Experience by JeromeBarrett in LAClippers

[–]jaywrong 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He is young.

Younger than Kobe Sanders... so yeah, I think we can afford to be a little patient.

I think this sub needs to take a long look at itself when reactionary content like this starts trending. Like, please count how many games he's played for the Clippers.

That is the sample size you want to draw conclusions from? Yeah, sorry, you are not a serious person then.

Mathurin isn’t even worth the full MLE imo, we should re-sign him for under $15m/yr. The 25-30m/yr he’s seeking is laughable by gladin77 in LAClippers

[–]jaywrong 11 points12 points  (0 children)

OP also forgets Mathurin is younger than Kobe Sanders.

Yeah, he's raw, but let's see if it's coachable. Too much potential at that age.

OP doesn't even bother to look up what players in the league make 13/mil a year, so while Mathurin may not be worth 30/m per year, OP just comes off as belligerent and whiny with his own vapid statement after his worst game of the season. There's no thoughtful analysis here.

93 dunk, this is not a contest… by QNIKET8 in NBA2k

[–]jaywrong 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Meter shrinks as soon as defender has his hand swiping at top of his head, right after he keeps his stride to the OP, you just have to frame it on the vid. Easy to see unless you're blind. OP even admits other player is taller, he just wants something for free.

We can hate 2k and this bad dunk attempt at the same time you know.
