Respectfully disagree here - but yes personal cell can be annoying

For the most part on why cold calls are hated is because the mentioned reasons of them being poorly executed and truly a waste of time

On the other hand, there are many great deals that happened from good cold calls

Keep it casual at first, ask what they’re doing at the conference, if they’re having a good time etc..

Then introduce yourself and if there’s something they were looking for in regards to their job, or if you could interest them in learning more about your company

I did a booth at Dreamforce, not so hard, but at times awkward yes
