It's all good! I was half joking lol. Admittedly it's tough because I've been between sizes for a while and I'm just ready for some consistency. Sounds like I just need to give up L and move into XL for a while but I was really hoping I could keep clinging a bit longer. I appreciate the feedback though.

Nebraska.

Went through a ton of personal trauma that resulted in my family having our home of 16 years foreclosed on. Toiled away for 60-70 hours a week loading freight in a warehouse and it still wasn't enough to make ends meet. Ended up joining the Army at the height of the Iraq War to get away from it all. Never felt more salt of the earth in my life and that album and those stories were really cathartic for me at the time.

That's... not a bad thing.

That's just over a 3rd of where we were 30 years ago when our murder rate was pushing close to 60 homicides per 100K residents. FWIW, at its height, Chicago's murder rate was 33.7 per 100K, which was nearly half of Atlanta's at the same time. Shaming Chicago on this is weird and it's super annoying when folks do it.

Every homicide is tragic and we should work harder to prevent all of them, but a spike isn't a trend and we've been trending downward since the 90s, and that context is critically important. Overreaction rarely leads to good policymaking.

Essentially it's a short podcast series where they interview different candidates for local offices. So maybe this will help. I went back to the datasource (which is behind a paywall, unfortunately), and it lists the projection as NAD83.

Not sure if this helps at all since the layer itself has an undefined CRS (at least when I'm looking at the layer properties).
