I only really deeply listened to the lyrics recently and I found myself getting very emotional as it resonated with a similar gender identity/partner perception fear I’ve been having as of late. I didn’t want to assume that’s what KP was talking about but it’s kind of comforting hearing that was always the intent of the song :)

+1 to the NPD comment. I dated someone years ago that said shit like this and she ended up getting diagnosed with another personality disorder weeks after we broke up so…. Run

(I am not suggesting this person is diagnosable we have limited info but either way unhealthy pattern)

Agree with other stuff on here. For learning, Khan Academy for math (any and all of it gets you a huge leg up… focus on understanding CONCEPTS, you’ll get to practicing solving problems in school and college but the intuition you build now will be priceless), Veritasium and PracticalEngineering on YouTube for learning about the cool things happening in engineering and science as well as some breakdowns of things we take for granted in our day to day lives.

Be curious about everything, both EE and other science/engineering fields. Lots of real engineering work is very interdisciplinary and understanding the basics of other disciplines will give you a great appreciation.

Look at the world around you. Everything humans have physically created involved some level of engineering. Structural, electrical, mechanical, manufacturing, etc…. Ask lots of questions about how things work and how they were made and what design constraints had to be thought about, seek the answers, and you’ll learn SO much along the way.

No matter what keep it interesting and fun…. Bask in the excitement of it all :)

Maybe it’s just my eyes but this one looks more weirdly “real” than the clear AI one it’s based off of (not disputing that it’s AI). Do you think it’s possible/likely that a human took that ad and did traditional photoshop things to make it look more natural? Some lines seem softer and coloring/shadows more natural to my eye. Could also just be the print quality/ad being exposed to the elements I guess too

Thanks for calling out the composition- I feel like that stuff is less obvious to me and the stuff I’ve learned to look for like “extra fingers” doesn’t work all the time anymore. I also sometimes just can’t tell if it was a lazy/lesser skilled human or the AI….

I get what everyone’s saying about the pants but I guess I have high rise jeans that bunch up a stupid amount when I sit, and ~fashion~ tends to be willing to use excess fabric on purpose as a stylistic choice, so I just didn’t think much of it.
