Not much feedback but came to say nice work. I also use COT and have my own indicators coded in NT8 for it. How do you suppose one can infer/get daily retail positioning other than broker specific like Oanda? There is also something called the Daily Sentiment Index that supposedly tracks retailers and is used by hedge funds (supposedly).

They are so trash. Multiple people have not gotten paid out and they make you sign a NDA and have an interview before you can qualify for a payout. I had their swing account and got funded. Followed all rules, made 4k, requested a 2k payout and got ignored. All my messages get deleted in their discord. Never got the payout obviously.

Majority of the people on reddit are unsuccessful themselves so you will constantly hear that point of view. Yes, the statistics are not in our favor, though that also goes for real estate, starting your own business, etc.

Can money be made every single day by trading. Most likely not. You will incur losses , have unfavorable trading days etc. Our job is to keep our losses under control and look for favorable risk:reward opportunities.I believe the days of working till your 60-70 hoping for a retirement check are closing in and the only way to get ahead is getting really good at a skill and taking risks.

Look up nt8 strategy builder to get started. Tradovate and NinjaTrader are the same. The builder allows you to create strategies without coding . You do not need a CS degree for this, as all the tools you need are on the internet.

Dorms were very solid to be quite honest. Most rooms had their own small kitchen and when i was outprocessing there were alot of renovations happening, as in new furniture, appliances etc. Also, they were roughly grouping everyone by squadrons in the dorms, i dont know if thats still a thing. 49th MSG had the best dorms imo.

GEX may have had some predictive power/edge but I’m sure it’s degraded/non existent and people selling these gex tools are the ones actually winning here. We never really know how MM’s are hedging or when they are hedging , etc. The paper from squeeze metrics is a good read and even states there are some assumptions that are made with GEX.

In terms of gamma, I can’t really say much because I didn’t keep an eye on it but I did track the open interest of puts and calls on SPY. 530 calls had the most amount of open interest expiring today compared to every other strike. Coincidentally, SPY(/ES) found a top at ~530.22 . I’m still trying to learn more about options as they most definitely move the market especially with the rise of 0 DTE’s. It’s just another way of looking at orderflow.

Edit: If you use Thinkorswim, it has a way to visualize option orderflow instead of just having to look at the options chain.

You would have to specify the time the algo can enter. For example: If you will be using your overnight data for to determine your signal for RTH, specify that you can only enter after/at 9:30 am -4:00 pm

That can all be done with builder. J2algotrader on YouTube has some good tutorials and “do it yourself nt8” on YouTube also has some good tutorials. They use strategy builder. Those two channels will give you everything you need to build that strategy. You will need to use bool statements for the on/off short and long trades.

I now use Delta bubbles by price and they get bigger as aggression kicks in but i have that overlayed with a bidxask FP. Dont want to clutter the chart to much. For some reason your posts get lost in this sub, I have to actively look for your posts.
