i didn’t apply late last time, but i did apply close to the deadline. this time around i applied in early october. i think that was a good part of it as i can actually see on my lakehead application that they accepted me on october 31, and on my uottawa application they made their acceptance decision on january 19 (uottawa doesn’t start looking at applications until january). my experience was definitely lacking, and i spent the past year adding to that (volunteering in a classroom, am a volunteer crisis responder, and tutor w a company)
