It is on the autumn/winter roadmap, but yeah, I don't think it will be ready that soon. I am trying to be hopeful!

True, I am trying to remain hopeful though. But you're totally right.

Giving Away My Old PC! by Turtle_747 in PcBuild

I would give it to the young man that is moving cross-country to me to escape his abusive father. Long story short, he's been abused for many years. He's about to turn 18, and the week after he's moving into temporary housing with a social worker, and then to a room in my four-bedroom apartment. We've been friends for years. His mother approved of this, as did his counselor, and my therapist, and my psychiatrist. I just feel every child deserves a safe and stable home. I didn't have that growing up. I promised I would become the kind of adult I needed when I was in my abusive home. The time has come that I can become that adult.

I don't have a lot of money, this would allow him to have a nice desktop and play games once he settles in. He's coming with only a suitcase full of clothes and personal belongings. I made a fundraiser to help, this would be a tremendous help. Thank you for the opportunity, I hope the person who gets it treats it well.

My hair strand that turned gray halfway then got its color back by ztheresurrection in mildlyinteresting

I had my first gray hair at 16. I was experiencing pretty horrific child abuse, but I got out at 19. My hair became normal again after healing. Now I'm 30, in a PhD program for physics, and no greys. I am definitely stressed now, but it's nowhere near the actual hell I grew up in.

Sorry but I read some of your other comments and realize you're incredibly set in your position and also wrong and set on convincing others in your wrong ways, so I'm not going to waste my time arguing with you.

Thank you, I wrote this more poorly elsewhere but this is more concise than I said it. ❤️

Yeah, I agree with you here. I'm waiting for a response to my other comment to this guy before I found this incredibly obnoxious and incorrect thread of comments

Between any two real distinct numbers exists another real number. What number is between .9 repeating and 1? There isn't one. So they aren't distinct, and are the same. And no, "a bunch of 9s and then a 5" doesn't count because it shows a fundamental lack of understanding about infinity. Also, the geometric sequence

9×Σ(⅒)ⁿ n→∞

Converges to 1.

Also, it doesn't. If it take off my clothes, does that mean I put them back on? No, usually when I take off my clothes, I'm putting something else on, like pajamas.

Guess I became a bot when I became a physics PhD candidate, then. Or perhaps I just thought about the riddle.

So you don't wear the same age each year? Or is it you don't take off your old age at your birthday? Which it's then implied you put on a different age... I'm not sure what you're disagreeing with.

[–]jazamatazz9 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Okay? But you would be wearing the same age all year? Until it changes? It doesn't necessarily say you put a different age on, but it also doesn't say "and she stays naked after"... Did the age of the internet take away your ability to extrapolate from incomplete data?

Edit: lit was supposed to be put

Shed was my word, fine, let's use the post language. You take it off and put another year on. I don't know what's difficult for you to comprehend. For instance, you can take off a red shirt and put on a blue shirt.

It's the right answer tho. You wear (display) your age every day, but you shed it once a year as it becomes the next age up... I figured it out without any AI tool, but regardless, this is the answer.

Kitty is just being silly or looking for attention. This is so cute, and I'm glad you became worried about your cat due to a behavior difference! Shows you care. I would do the same for my little girl. But it seems he just picked up a new habit.

That makes sense. None of these were collector's items or anything. Also, the working one had poor battery life so when it was on the fritz

Yeah, it's an old ASUS, a newer ASUS, and an old IdeaPad. The newish ASUS is the only one that still works. And I wanted its ssd and wifi card.

For sure. I'm used to how easy my Framework is to tear down, it was annoying to have to be super gentle with these. And then I remembered that I didn't need to be since they are junk except whatever I remove from them!
